Joyeux Anniversaire Julia Child!
Today marks the 100th Birthday of Julia Child. Her story is remarkable and it is fascinating to think that she hadn’t started cooking until her early thirties and didn’t make her TV debut until she was in her fifties. She is an inspiration to me for many reasons, but mainly because her determination, drive and positivity are a constant reminder that everyone has a second chapter in their lives and there is always more to come. Simply, Julia changed the world and those of us with a love of food and life are very grateful.
“It was Child — not single-handedly, but close — who started the public conversation about cooking in America that has shaped our cuisine and culture ever since.”

I want them to remake Julie & Julia as Julia & Julia. Now, please.
I only liked the Julia parts.
Well, and Chris Messina. If they could just insert some Messina while leaving the Streep and Tucci alone, that would be perfect.
You know what, I don’t trust them with Tucci. Just bring Tucci to me, I will keep him safe and warm. Bring me Tucci and add Messina in period dress and we’ll all be fine.
